Drivers face random checks and fines under new France breathalyser law

A new law requiring drivers to carry breathalyser kits in their vehicles has today come into force in France. Under the law motorists and motorcyclists face a fine of 11 euros (£8) unless they travel with two single use, self-testing breathalysers.
